Which is an interesting read, but as I recall the 1980 election (the second Presidential election I voted in, a pleasure as I helped boot Carter from the White House), this was an excuse for the many many failures of Jimmy Carter. All of which were due to his incompetence and flawed policies.
And so it is for Obama -- they are already writing the excuses for his many times many failures.
